End User License Agreement

Last updated 17 September 2026

This agreement is between you and Spencer Uresk ("we") for the CronMon software ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to it.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the app on up to three Macs that you own or control, for the trial period and, after purchase, for as long as you like. A license bought for a team may be used on up to three Macs per seat purchased.

Updates

A purchase includes all updates released within twelve months of the purchase date. After that, the version you have continues to work indefinitely. Continued updates are available as an optional renewal.

Restrictions

You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, or sell the app or license keys; remove or circumvent licensing; or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it regardless of this clause.

What the app changes

The app reads your scheduled jobs and reports on them. It changes your Mac only when you ask it to, and then only in these ways: commenting out or restoring a single line of your own crontab, after writing a backup of that crontab; loading, unloading, or starting a launchd job you own through launchctl; and running a cron job's command on request. It does not edit any other line, any other file, or any job belonging to another user or to macOS.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app, including any consequence of a job that was run, started, disabled, or enabled, or of a change to a crontab. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Termination

This license ends if you breach it. You may end it any time by deleting the app.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA.
